It’s my shout for morning tea, how do you take your coffee?
Cappuccino please!
What is it that you do at AMETS?
I’m an HSE | Tenement Officer, supporting the South Australian AMETS team.
What do you love about your position?
The variety of work – no two days are the same!
How do you spend your time when you are not at AMETS?
Hanging out with my wonderful fiancé, our beautiful dogs, cats, rabbits and horses (quite the menagerie!), and tackling DIY home renovation projects (mostly successfully).
What are you most grateful for?
Growing up on a family farm in the mid-north of SA – the values and experiences I’ve gained growing a ‘farm kid’ are invaluable.
What is your ideal holiday?
Horseback riding through Iceland, visiting the geological wonders of such a tectonically active region – active volcanoes, the mid-Atlantic Ridge, and geothermal hot springs to name a few – and experiencing the Northern Lights if I’m lucky enough!
Which three things do you take to a deserted island?
A decent bed, my dog Lily, and a good book to read.
What do you love most about being an Ametarian?
Working with a group of incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and friendly people.
Do you have a favourite quote?
“I have never heard someone say so many wrong things, one after the other, consecutively, in a row.” – David Rose, Schitt’s Creek
I will never not laugh at this line!
Is there anything else about working for AMETS that you think the world should know?
The dedication of AMETS to their clients is exceptional – we’re always here to make our clients’ lives a little easier.
