CEO | Managing Director
Leanne Brock is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of AMETS Tenements & Geoservices, which she established in 2008 to deliver practical, values-based regulatory compliance solutions to Australia’s exploration and mining industry. From its origins as a small Northern Territory practice, AMETS has grown under Leanne’s leadership into an award-winning Australia and Asia-Pacific tenement management consultancy recognised for integrity, accountability, and professional excellence. Leanne’s career spans more than 37 years across government and corporate roles, including the NT Department of Mines & Energy, Normandy Mining, and Arafura Resources. She is known for her deep technical knowledge, ethical leadership, and ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into practical, outcome-focused support for clients. Through her embodiment of AMETS’ core values — integrity, accountability, respect, resilience, and success – Leanne has built a company culture that reflects her own philosophy: that compliance excellence and ethical leadership are inseparable, and that empowering people is key to organisational strength. Beyond AMETS, Leanne is a mentor with the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM), a judge for the NSW Small Business Awards, and a passionate supporter of initiatives that improve education access and support the disadvantaged. Leanne continues to lead AMETS with humility, professionalism, and purpose – proving that strong governance, care for people, and genuine service can drive success in every dimension of business
Anita Lee
Anita Lee 
General Manager - Tenements & Geoservices
Anita joined AMETS in 2023 and currently serves as General Manager – Tenements & Geoservices. With over 25 years of experience across the Australian mining sector, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership to her role. A qualified geologist, Anita holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) from the Queensland University of Technology, graduating in 1995. Her career spans exploration, underground, and open-pit mining environments, with a focus on commodities such as gold, tungsten, and coal. This broad operational background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities across the mining lifecycle. At AMETS, Anita oversees the Tenements and Geoservices division, guiding multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality, compliant, and innovative solutions to clients. Her leadership is defined by a commitment to operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Combining technical insight with a pragmatic approach, Anita plays a key role in advancing AMETS’ mission to provide integrated and trusted mining services across Australia.

Brett Anderson
Principal Tenement Manager
Brett Anderson joined AMETS in January 2026 as the Principal Tenement Manager for Western Australia, bringing 31 years of experience across the exploration and mining industry. Brett holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Surveying & Mapping) from Curtin University. His early career included roles with Main Roads WA and a private surveying firm before moving to Kalgoorlie as an Underground Mine Surveyor. Advancing to Chief Surveyor at the Super Pit, Brett developed a strong interest in land tenure management, which led to senior roles with KCGM, private geological and tenement management firms, and De Beers. In 2003, he established Anderson’s Tenement Management, further broadening his expertise and industry connections. A member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), Brett meets the criteria under the VALMIN Code as a tenement specialist. His extensive hands-on experience and deep understanding of exploration, mining, and compliance processes enable him to deliver practical, informed guidance to clients and the AMETS team alike.
Holly Edgar 
Principal Tenement Manager | Geologist
Holly Edgar joined AMETS in July 2010 and currently serves as the Principal Tenement Manager for the Northern Territory, bringing her technical expertise as a qualified geologist. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) from the University of Ballarat, completed in 2005. With a strong background in both geology and mineral tenement management, Holly offers extensive knowledge of the Northern Territory’s legislative frameworks and statutory processes. Her experience across application and title maintenance functions ensures rigorous compliance and a strategic approach to land management. At AMETS, Holly leads all tenement management activities in the Northern Territory, including the preparation and lodgement of Environmental (Mining) Licences, geological reporting, and exploration and mining proposals on Aboriginal Freehold land. Her dual skill set enables her to provide both technical geological insight and regulatory guidance, supporting successful exploration outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
Tamara Grothues
Principal Tenement Manager
Tamara Grothues joined AMETS in 2015 bringing with her 17 years of experience in the resources sector, specialising in tenement management and regulatory compliance across Australia and Papua New Guinea. She is responsible for overseeing AMETS’ tenure portfolios in Queensland and PNG, delivering strategic guidance and tailored support to clients across a wide range of projects. Tamara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and has completed a Mining Law unit at the University of Western Australia. She began her career in 2008 as a Tenement Officer in Western Australia and has since progressed into senior leadership roles, managing complex tenure projects in multiple jurisdictions. In addition to her technical expertise, Tamara is an active contributor to the industry through her involvement with the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC), the Queensland Resources Council (QRC), and the North Queensland Miners Association, where she advocates for the needs of small miners. Tamara is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. In 2010, she co-founded Women in Resources NT, supporting greater representation of women in the mining and exploration industry.
Christian Leidersdorff 
Geoservices Manager
Christian Leidersdorff joined AMETS in 2024 as Geoservices Manager, bringing over 16 years of experience in geospatial analysis and geology. He leads AMETS’ geospatial initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mapping, data management, and geospatial solutions across the business. Christian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology with a co-major in Environmental Science from the Queensland University of Technology. He has worked extensively across Australia, South America, and Africa in roles spanning GIS consultancy, project geology, and data quality management. Prior to joining AMETS, Christian specialised in quality assurance and control of geospatial products and geochemical databases, applying advanced technologies to streamline data access and improve operational efficiency. Known for his analytical skills and collaborative approach, he has successfully managed diverse geospatial projects and led international teams. Christian is passionate about innovation in geoscience and has a proven track record of mentoring staff and clients alike. His deep understanding of spatial systems, combined with a drive to modernise processes, enables him to lead AMETS’ geoservices team with vision and precision.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement Manager
Amanda Schwartz joined AMETS in 2025 as Stakeholder & Client Engagement Manager, bringing over 14 years of experience in land access, community engagement, and client relationship management within Australia’s mining and exploration sector. Having worked extensively in the Northern Territory, as well as in Victoria and Queensland, Amanda has developed a deep understanding of stakeholder needs across diverse regions and projects. In her role, Amanda is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement initiatives, coordinating feedback, and fostering strong partnerships. Her collaborative approach ensures that client and community priorities remain central to AMETS’ operations.

Alyzza Mariquit joined AMETS in 2025 as a Tenement Officer, bringing eight years of experience in the Philippine mining sector. Her background includes managing mining agreements, compliance, and tenement renewals, with a strong focus on regulatory processes and operational efficiency. She holds a degree in Geology and has a solid understanding of ISO Standards 9001, 14001, and 45001, reflecting her commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and workplace safety. Alyzza is enthusiastic about the Australian resource sector, expanding her knowledge of local legislation and building strong relationships with clients and regulatory bodies across Australia. Her international experience and proactive approach bring valuable perspective to the AMETS team.
Belinda Ingram
Senior Tenement Manager
Belinda Ingram joined AMETS in December 2020 as a Tenement Officer, bringing with her a diverse professional background spanning waste management, local government, real estate property management, and extensive administration and communications experience. Belinda began by supporting Tenement Managers and clients across New South Wales and Victoria, quickly demonstrating her capability, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality service. Her strong performance led to her promotion to Senior Tenement Manager for Victoria. Belinda’s well-rounded experience, combined with her strengths in communication and administration, allows her to manage tenements with efficiency and professionalism. Her adaptable approach and broad industry knowledge enable her to provide tailored, reliable support to both clients and colleagues.

Bianca Smith joined AMETS in 2025, bringing with her nearly two decades of administration experience and a strong background as a legal assistant, predominantly within the Mining, Resources, and Native Title sectors. In her role as Tenement Officer, Bianca provides dedicated support to the WA team, ensuring smooth administration and compliance processes. She applies her strong work ethic and attention to detail to every project, approaching her work with professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for the challenges that arise. Known for her approachable and witty nature, Bianca fosters a positive working environment while maintaining a strong results-driven focus, making her a valued member of the AMETS team and a reliable support to colleagues and clients alike.

Cait Syed joined AMETS in 2023, bringing with her more than a decade of experience in administration, accounts, and business events across the construction and land development sectors. As Administration Officer, Cait plays a key role in supporting the company’s daily operations, with a particular focus on coordination, documentation, financial administration, and optimising internal processes. She holds a degree in Business and Event Management and brings additional expertise in accounts management, risk documentation, and compliance support. Cait is passionate about building strong professional relationships and contributing to a well-organised, collaborative, and positive work environment for both clients and colleagues. With her keen attention to detail, financial acumen, and dedication to service excellence, Cait is a highly valued member of the AMETS administration team.

Caroline Keech joined AMETS in 2023, bringing extensive experience in mining consultancy since 2005. Throughout her career, Caroline has specialised in tenement administration, client trust accounts, reporting, and ensuring timely payment of rents and rates for clients. Before transitioning to the mining industry, Caroline gained valuable experience in banking, which has contributed to her strong attention to detail and financial management skills. Her combined expertise ensures efficient and accurate tenement management support for AMETS clients.
Claire Brook
Senior Tenement Manager
Claire Brook joined AMETS in 2022, bringing over nine years of dedicated experience in the mining industry with a strong focus on Western Australian tenement services. Her background combines valuable government and private sector experience, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the mining landscape and regulatory environment in WA. Claire spent five years with the Department of Mines & Petroleum, working in remote outstations in Meekatharra and Leonora. During this time, she gained firsthand knowledge of regulatory compliance, tenement administration, and stakeholder engagement in some of the state’s key mining regions. Following her government tenure, Claire transitioned to consultancy roles within the private sector for four years, where she further honed her skills in managing tenements and delivering tailored solutions for a diverse range of clients. Claire is committed to supporting AMETS clients with expert tenement management and strategic advice, ensuring regulatory compliance and helping to optimise their project outcomes.

Clare Feenan joined AMETS in 2021, initially providing essential support to the NSW, VIC and SA Tenement Managers and clients. Her strong performance and dedication to delivering outstanding service led to her promotion to Tenement Manager for New South Wales and South Australia. Clare brings a diverse professional background that includes business ownership, real estate property management, administration, and general management. This experience has equipped her with a broad and valuable skill set, including strong administrative capability, effective leadership, excellent communication, and outstanding organisational skills. Clare is known for her commitment to building lasting client relationships and delivering service with precision and care. Her proactive approach and attention to detail ensure that tenement management is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and integrity.
Danae Wilson
Tenement Officer
Danae Wilson joined AMETS in November 2025 as a Tenement Officer, bringing nearly three years of experience in tenements, titles, and land management across Queensland and New South Wales. She has worked in both tenement consultancy roles and within a mining company’s tenement department, giving her a strong understanding of compliance, statutory requirements, and land access processes. Danae’s background spans legal administration, project coordination, scheduling, and operational support across mining, civil and construction, and commercial diving/vessel operations throughout Australia. She has completed three years of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree, and this legal foundation enhances her capability in managing regulatory and administrative requirements with precision and professionalism. Danae now supports the AMETS team with her growing expertise in titles management and her commitment to delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality service.
Danielle Alchin
Senior Tenement Manager
Danielle Alchin joined AMETS in 2020, bringing with her over 10 years of dedicated experience in the Minerals and Energy sectors that strengthen AMETS expertise in the Northern Territory. Throughout her career, Danielle has developed extensive knowledge across multiple facets of the mining and exploration industry, including applications, titles maintenance, securities, and Mining Management Plans (MMPs). Her deep understanding of both the Mineral Titles Act and Petroleum Act, combined with longstanding industry contacts in the petroleum sector, provides significant value to our clients. Danielle is responsible for managing tenement titles in the Northern Territory, ensuring compliance and strategic oversight to support project success.
Debra Howes
Marketing & Events Coordinator | Admin
Debra Howes joined AMETS in 2022 as a Tenement Officer before moving into the Administration team and later transitioning into her current role as Marketing & Events Coordinator, reflecting her extensive experience in this field. She brings over 20 years of senior administrative experience across the mining industry, local government, and private sector. Debra holds a Diploma in Business Administration, a Diploma of Event Management, IAP2 Certificate of Engagement, and is a Justice of the Peace. Her background includes eight years in community and media liaison with a mining company in the Gunnedah Basin, NSW, where she gained valuable experience in NSW mining tenement monitoring, compliance, auditing, and stakeholder engagement. In addition, Debra has more than ten years’ experience in governance, corporate performance, communication, and media roles across two local government areas. At AMETS, she brings energy, exceptional organisational skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, contributing to the success of both internal operations and external events.

Erin Helps joined AMETS in August 2025 as a Tenement Officer, bringing a decade of administrative experience within the Canadian gold mining sector. She has worked with several leading companies, developing strong industry knowledge and a commitment to operational excellence. A dual Canadian and Australian citizen, Erin has a well-developed passion for the resources industry and is a strong advocate for its sustainable and ethical future. Her background and enthusiasm make her a valuable addition to the AMETS team as she supports tenement management and client services.
John Howard
Reporting Geologist
John Howard joined AMETS in 2021, bringing over 25 years of field and office based experience in exploration geology and environmental science. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Geology from the University of Sydney and a Diploma of Petroleum Engineering from the University of NSW. A key member of the AMETS Geoservices Team, John’s primary focus is supporting clients to ensure high quality reporting and regulatory compliance. His deep technical expertise and robust understanding of requirements across state and territory jurisdictions have allowed him to develop strong relationships with regulatory stakeholders that enable him to provide practical solutions for his clients.  Clients regularly note that John’s high level of diligence and proactive communication simplify the reporting process while delivering high quality results. As a trusted advisor he is always enthusiastic to be involved with new clients and new projects – continually expanding his knowledge of geology across Australia.

Kate Shearman joined AMETS in May 2023, bringing extensive experience in legislative and regulatory compliance, safety, and risk prevention across a variety of industries. Kate is adept at using her extensive skills to support the business and build strong, collaborative relationships with clients and governing bodies. In her role as Administration Officer, Kate provides vital support to day-to-day operations and plays an active part in assisting with the ongoing development and optimisation of AMETS’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Her attention to detail and compliance expertise help ensure that the CRM supports efficient client management and regulatory compliance across the company. Kate’s proactive approach and commitment to excellence make her a valued contributor to AMETS’ continued growth and success
Kathryn Brown
Tenement Manager | Geologist
Kathryn Brown joined AMETS in 2024, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience in the mining industry. Raised across the Northern Territory, she began her career as a Ranger with the NT Conservation Commission, where her passion for geology and the natural environment grew. Kathryn pursued this passion by studying Geology at the WA School of Mines. Her extensive career includes significant roles in nickel and gold exploration and mining operations. Kathryn also transitioned into property management in South Australia, blending her geological expertise with practical skills to support sustainable and efficient mining projects. At AMETS, Kathryn applies her broad industry knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver expert tenement management, strategic advice and geoservices, helping clients navigate complex mining operations with confidence.
Keith Weston
Administration Geologist
Keith Weston joined AMETS in April 2025 as an Administration Geologist within the Geoservices team. He brings broad industry experience gained through roles in both government and private sectors, including underground geology in Kalgoorlie, work with the Victorian Department of Minerals & Energy, and senior positions with ASX-listed explorers. Keith has also worked in the extractive industry as a quality control coordinator. His career spans multiple commodities and jurisdictions across Western Australia, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Latin America, and Papua New Guinea. Keith brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a well-rounded understanding of the mineral industry to the AMETS team.
Kyen Knight
Administration Geologist
Kyen Knight joined the AMETS team in March 2025 as an Administration Geologist, supporting technical reporting, GIS mapping, work programs, and mineral tenement approvals. He is a qualified Geologist and Geophysicist with over 14 years of experience across both the private and public sectors. Kyen has a strong background in exploration project planning, data management and analysis, and reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology and Geophysics with Honours in Geophysics from the University of Tasmania. With over 11 years in geoscience database management and policy development, including with the Tasmanian Geological Survey, Kyen brings detailed knowledge of exploration legislation, compliance, and industry standards.
