Kathryn Brown has had a dynamic and diverse career, marked by her passion for the natural world and her extensive experience in the mining industry. Growing up in various locations across the Northern Territory, Kathryn developed a deep appreciation for the environment, which led her to begin her professional journey as a Ranger with the NT Conservation Commission. This role ignited her interest in geology and the mining sector.

Pursuing her newfound passion, Kathryn moved to Western Australia to study Geology at the prestigious WA School of Mines. Armed with a solid educational foundation, she embarked on a career that has spanned over three decades, during which she has made significant contributions to Nickel and Gold Exploration and Mining operations.

Kathryn’s expertise and dedication have taken her to South Australia, where she transitioned into the role of Property Manager, seamlessly integrating her geological knowledge with property management skills. Her unique blend of experiences has allowed her to navigate the complexities of the mining industry effectively, ensuring sustainable and profitable operations.

With her extensive background in geology, property management, and over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, Kathryn brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to AMETS.
