AMETS are excited to share that the Tasmanian State Government has opened applications for round 10 of the Exploration Drilling Grant Initiative (EDGI). This round focuses on critical minerals, providing a significant boost to the mineral exploration sector.
What’s Available?
- Up to $70,000 for direct drilling costs
- An additional $20,000 for helicopter support, if required
Eligible Licences:
- Mining leases
- Exploration licences
- Retention licences
Funding Focus: The program continues to prioritize high-quality, technically and economically sound projects that promote innovative exploration or new exploration concepts and technology.
Key Dates:
- Application Deadline: 2:00 pm on Friday, 30th August 2024
- Announcement of Successful Applications: Late September 2024
How to Apply: Completed online Project Proposal applications, along with appropriate supporting information, must be submitted by the deadline.
