It’s my shout for morning tea, how do you take your coffee?
Large double shot latte thanks. Real milk!
What is it that you do at AMETS?
I provide assistance to the tenement managers in Victoria, NSW and Tasmania – everything from client follow-ups, lodging applications, organising application advertising, data entry, correspondence with government departments and other tenement administration.
What do you love about your position?
There’s heaps of variety, a good team to work with and great clients.
How do you spend your time when you are not at AMETS?
Apart from the menial household chores, I enjoy reading science fiction novels, skiing and snowboarding in winter and golf, hiking and Stand-Up-Paddle boarding in summer.
What are you most grateful for?
My health! I am rarely sick and can get around having a moderately active life. I don’t take that for granted.
What is your ideal holiday?
Just heading down the beach with my family and dog, taking long walks and stopping for ice-cream.
Which three things do you take to a deserted island?
Water, a large hat and my kindle loaded with 3,000 books.
What do you love most about being an Ametarian?
I’m a valued member of a team of really smart, dedicated and friendly individuals.
Do you have a favourite line from a show?
“Joey doesn’t share food!” from Friends, because I don’t share food, not even Chinese and don’t steal my fries!
Is there anything else about working for AMETS that you think the world should know?
We mostly work from home – with staff spread out all across Australia – the biggest challenge is organising a Christmas party!
