The Queensland Government has announced another $5 million in funding for Round 9 of the Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI). This program offers grants of up to $250,000 per project to help expedite exploration activities. There’s no limit to the number of projects a company can apply for, but eligible funding is capped at $400,000 + GST per applicant.
Key Details:
- All work must be completed, and final reports lodged by 29 January 2026 to ensure reimbursement.
- Failure to meet the deadline may result in ineligibility for future applications.
- Priority will be given to projects focused on the discovery of critical minerals essential for clean energy technologies.
