As we wrap up 2023, the AMETS Administration Department is excited to share the accomplishments and milestones that have shaped our year. It has been a period of growth, improved processes, and strengthened collaboration within our dynamic team.

Team Growth and Additions 

This year the Administration Department has grown in depth and capability.  

We welcomed a number of new team members into the space, further diversifying our capabilities and enhancing our service caliber for clients and internal teams. 

Dominique Gillispie
Manager – Administration | People & Culture | Governance
Dominique joined AMETS in 2023 with a wealth of experience in both law and industry. She holds a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations and International Relations) with Honours from the University of Southern Queensland and a Graduate Certificate in Legal Practice from the College of Law.  

Caitlyn Syed
Administration | Tenement Officer
Caitlin joined AMETS with over 10 years’ experience in Administration and business events in the construction and land industry.  She has a Degree in Business and Event Management and is also skilled in supporting risk documentation.   

Sarah Ball
Business Development | Client Relations
Sarah has a vast range of experience in both law and industry. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Bachelor of International Business and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. After practising as a corporate lawyer, Sarah moved into Business Development, Digital Strategy and Design roles.   

We also congratulated Debra Howes on her promotion to Marketing and Event Coordinator/Admin, an incredible opportunity to utilise her skills and experience to better promote the AMETS brand.  

We are proud of the experienced and professional team that has been created. All members have actively contributed to the efficient functioning of our administration and business development processes. Their dedication and enthusiasm have added vibrancy to our department. 

Enhanced Processes

Throughout the year, we have focused on streamlining and enhancing our administrative processes to better serve the needs of our clients and internal teams.  From document management to procedures to scheduling and requests, we have dramatically improved efficiencies within processes throughout the business.  

We have undertaken a business wide recapture and reshaping of all communications, resources, and procedures. This has been a mammoth task and all those involved have shown incredible innovation and expertise. The efficiency gains from this project continue to be realised and we look forward to enhancing these efficiencies further in 2024.   

Collaboration Across Departments

Our department actively collaborated with various teams, fostering a culture of open communication, inclusiveness, and smooth coordinationWhether it’s supporting Teams in managing documents for exploration approvals or assisting the Marketing Team in organising events, our commitment to teamwork has been a driving force.

Client-Centric Approach  

The Administration Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients receive the support they need promptly and effectivelyFrom supporting the state teams with enquiries, to managing our client database, our client-centric approach is at the heart of everything we do. 

Professional Development and Training   

To maintain a high standard of service, our team members have actively engaged in professional development and training opportunities throughout the yearThis investment in our skills ensures that we stay abreast of industry best practices and provide top-notch service to our clients and internal teams. Our team have attended conferences and training sessions throughout the year on Leadership, Digital Marketing, Communication Techniques, Project Management, and WHS and Risk Management.  

Looking Ahead 

As we look ahead to 2024, the Administration Department is committed to further improvements, innovations and efficiencies.  

We are excited about the opportunities for growth and collaboration that the new year will bring, and we remain dedicated to supporting the overall success of AMETS.
